The Lord’s sheep know His voice, and He knows each by name. While the Lord Omnipotent watches over His entire flock and offers His eternal sacrifice for all, He cares deeply and intimately for each one of His sheep and longs to have a personal relationship with each.
Did He leave the 99 to find the lost one? Possibly. More likely the “lost sheep” is right among us, sitting in the pew next to us hoping for some love and attention. We all need love. In many ways, we are all the One.
